Welcome to Hobbylink! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hobbylink mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Hobbylink ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using the application, you fully accept these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the application. If you use the application on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application for personal and non-commercial purposes. You are not authorized to modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the application.

The Service currently offers free access to all users. We reserve the right to offer different types of accounts in the future, with additional features that will be detailed at the time of their launch.

3.4 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the application settings or by contacting us at contact@hobby.link. Following the deletion of your account, your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

4. User Content

4.1 Publication

By posting content on the Service, including but not limited to images and location data, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully assignable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display this content worldwide, on any medium.

This license is granted for the following purposes: (i) operation, promotion, and improvement of the Service; (ii) distribution to other users in accordance with the privacy settings you have chosen; and (iii) anonymized use for analysis and Service improvement purposes.

4.2 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you post on the Service. However, by posting content, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to grant the licenses described in these Terms.

4.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

While we strive to create a safe environment for all users, we are not responsible for interactions between Service users, or for actions taken by users outside the Service following contacts initiated via the Service. We encourage you to exercise caution when organizing in-person meetings and to follow basic safety guidelines.

11. Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11.1 Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute relating to the use of the Service, the parties will endeavor to resolve the dispute amicably. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

12. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, without notice. By continuing to use the application after such changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

We will inform you of substantial modifications to these Terms through a notification in the application. The modifications will take effect 30 days after their notification. If you do not accept the new Terms, you must cease using the Service before the effective date of the modifications.

14. Miscellaneous Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the other provisions of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Hobbylink's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

By using the application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not access or use the application.
